Legs On The Wall

THAW GOES GLOBAL

KIA ORA! Today marks Legs' long-awaited return to international touring, presenting THAW in WhakatÅ« Nelson. Our thanks to Nelson Arts Festival for championing the work and hosting us so magnificently. Whenever we perform THAW, putting aside our excitement, we also reflect on the many people at home and worldwide facing impacts due to climate change, which the work seeks to draw attention to. In this iteration THAW will be performed by Victoria Hunt, Jenni Large and Isabel Estrella, supported by Legs and local crew. Follow us on insta and FB through the day.

HOLDING ACHILLES | SYDNEY FESTIVAL

Our epic co-production HOLDING ACHILLES is coming to Sydney Festival as the world premiere season journeys on. Featuring daring aerial work choreographed by Joshua Thomson, a stellar cast and exquisite puppetry, David Morton's contemporary take on The Iliad is set to a haunting score performed live by Montaigne, composed with Tony Buchen and Chris Bear of Grizzly Bear. It's a story of mythic proportions with queer heroes at its heart, and we can't wait to share our collaboration with Dead Puppet Society, playing from 19 - 22 January 2023 at Carriageworks. BOOK TICKETS IMMEDIATELY!

VICKI VAN HOUT | ASSOCIATE ARTIST

We are incredibly excited to announce Vicki Van Hout as Legs' new Associate Artist. As a respected independent artist and choreographer, who's played a vital role with Legs in recent years (appearing in TRESTLETipping Point and not forgetting her breathtaking performance in THAW) we're honoured to embark on creating a new work with Vicki at the helm.
