Blue Lapis Light

 

Dear BLL Community, After a long hiatus we're headed back to Charlotte, North Carolina to perform in the Charlotte International Arts Festival. Three years ago Blue Lapis Light was honored travel to Charlotte to perform at their first annual festival. We are so excited to be going back to reprise "Reflection", an original site work that debuted to an audience of thousands at the 2019 festival. The performance is open to the public, no tickets are necessary to attend! If you're in the area, we hope to see you at the show! All info regarding the festival and performances can be found on the Charlotte International Arts Festival website. Tickets for Belonging are on sale now! Belonging aims to highlight the beauty of our earth and our responsibilities to our planet and to one another. This original site work features aerial dancers leaping from windows and soaring around smoke stacks, as well as ground dancers interacting with the architecture of the Seaholm Plaza. Belonging will take place September 14-18 and 21-24.  We look forward to sharing this special performance with you! Following the September 18th performance of Belonging, we're headed over to codependent for a celebratory afterparty. codependent is a conceptual cocktail + coffee bar inspired by Italian luxury, aperitivo culture, and a belief that beautiful design should be enjoyed by all. Conveniently located about a block from the Seaholm, codependent is just a quick walk from the show. Drinks will be available at a discounted rate.
