WIRED IS CASTING FOR EXCEPTIONAL CIRCUS ARTISTS AND ACTS, TO JOIN THE PRODUCTION OF RIGOLETTO AT BREGENZ FESTIVAL, AUSTRIA. 
WIRED AERIAL THEATRE ARE SEARCHING FOR INCREDIBLY SKILLED GROUND-BASED CIRCUS ACTS, GROUPS/INDIVIDUALS
CONTRACT DATES: 10TH JUNE TO 20TH AUGUST 2019 AND SAME APPROXIMATE DATES IN 2020.
AUDITIONS TO BE HELD: LONDON ON 31ST JANUARY 2019 AT NATIONAL CENTRE FOR CIRCUS ARTS, AND BREGENZ AT THE BREGENZER FESTSPIELHAUS, ON 16TH FEBRUARY 2019.

We are looking for impressive, ground-based circus acts, groups or individuals who would be interested in using their skills/act to create a jaw-dropping version of Rigoletto.

Production and Audition Information:
We are casting exceptional circus artists to join Wired Aerial Theatre in performing the production of Rigoletto at Bregenz Festival, Austria. This extraordinary production is led by inspirational Director, Philipp Stölzl and produced by Bregenzer Festspielhaus and will involve working in Bregenz from around 10th June until 20th August both years, 2019 and 2020.

After a very busy and fruitful audition last month, we are now holding further audition dates to take place in 2 locations: London (UK) and Bregenz (Austria) early in the new year.

CASTING
We require impressive and established, ground-based circus acts, groups or individuals who would be interested in using elements of their act and skills within the show, to create a jaw-dropping new version of Rigoletto.
You should be naturally inquisitive and creative, have experience of working at height or be eager to be trained to do so, work well as part of a team and embrace working in the outdoors. This amazing opera performs in all weathers to a 7,000 strong audience each evening throughout the summer.

We would very much like to see:
Solo Club Jugglers (Male and Female)
Duo Club jugglers (Male with Female)
German Wheel (Female)
Russian Bar artists
Stilt Walkers capable of performing another skill at the same time (juggling, poi, hula hoop) but open to any other combinations too
Hand to Hand Balance Duos (Male-Male, Male-Female)
Parkour, Acrobatics, Tumbling, Basket Toss Acrobatics
Object balancers/manipulation
Contortionists
Any other Unique and Unusual Ground Based Acts on a large and impressive scale as well as morphs of dynamic circus skills you wish to bring into the mix!
*If your act takes performance and performers to heights in the air (without the use of rope and harness), we want to hear from you*.

*BE AWARE*: All performers must be strong swimmers and be comfortable with entering the water during the performance.
