 | EADF 2026 - Your Feedback The dust has settled, the apparatus is packed away and we are still on a high (pun intended 😁) after our biggest and most inclusive European Aerial Dance Festival yet.
198 participants, 12 countries, two weeks of magic by the sea. 🌊
We've been reading through your feedback forms (thank you!) and we are genuinely moved. Moved by your generosity, honesty, courage in trying new things - and above all, by what so many of you said about feeling truly welcomed and included at EADF.
As the only inclusive aerial dance festival in the world, accessibility is not something we bolt on - it's something we build from the foundations. And this year, more than ever, we felt that coming back to us in your words.
Here's a small selection of what you told us:
💬 "This is the first time I've been taught in an environment where my needs have been truly met as a neurodiverse person. It really helped me to get the most out of all the wonderful teaching here."
💬 "I have complex disabilities and have never been anywhere where I felt so actively welcome and considered - a truly wonderful experience."
💬 "The most disability inclusive experience I've ever had. I got to show up as a person and as a participant - not as a problem."
💬 "The access support team are fantastic - just the fact that they are there makes me feel so much more comfortable participating as a disabled artist."
💬 "I cannot put into words how much this festival matters to me. It is the highlight of my entire year. There truly is no other experience like it."
We also welcomed 19 participants who identified as disabled, supported many more with undisclosed needs, and saw a 32% increase in activity on our Accessibility page. These numbers matter to us, and we will keep building on them year on year.
To every single person who came to EADF - thank you, from us all. Our hearts are still full. 💙 |

 | Dancing With The TreeMafra National Park, Portugal: 1st-4th OctoberWe're delighted to share that our autumn Dancing With The Tree retreat is fully booked - and we can't wait to welcome participants to Portugal in a few weeks!
For those who haven't heard about it: Dancing With The Tree is our immersive vertical dance retreat in the beautiful National Park of Mafra, Portugal, hosted by the wonderful Magalie Lanriot with our AD Lindsey. Four days of moving in and with the forest, connecting with the natural world, and finding the kind of stillness and space that's hard to come by in everyday life. It's heaven.
If you missed out this time, don't worry - we ran two retreats this year due to demand, and we're pretty sure it's something you're going to want in your diaries next year. So we'll keep you posted on plans for 2027 💚🌳 |
|
That's all for now - we hope to see you over the coming weeks and months, and as always you can keep up to date on all the latest news on Instagram or Facebook.
See you soon, aerial friends! 🤸♂️ |
