We now return to Oakland for a series of significant events in which we hope you will partake. Our work with community through our home base in West Oakland is the bedrock of our vision: to bring awe and wellness through free public art and education. Join us! TWO ARTISTS-IN-RESIDENCE ANNOUNCED In 2021 we launched the Updraft Artist-In-Residence program to promote vertical dance to historically marginalized dance artists and inclusively advance a dance form that is relatively new to the field. Paused during the renovation of our home studio 2022-2023, Updraft AIR program supports artists who identify as QTBIPOC and has relaunched this year with support from the National Endowment for the Arts.
