The 2022 San Francisco Aerial Arts Festival begins TODAY
The San Francisco Aerial Arts Festival is part of FORT MASON ART’s Summer 2022 program and will take place on Friday, August 19th through Sunday, August 21st. Against the backdrop of the San Francisco Bay, the 2022 festival is sure to dazzle, featuring internationally recognized aerial artists and exciting newcomers breaking into the field!
- RESURGE: 5 works by established aerial choreographers plus the short film The Routes of Vertical Dance: Moon and the Movement by choreographer Wanda Moretti on Friday 8/19 & Saturday 8/20 at 8:00pm at the Cowell Theater
- Love, a state of grace film screening: Optional, free pre-show short film at 7:00pm for all RESURGE ticket holders on Friday 8/19 & Saturday 8/20
- Youth Revelry Matinee: 5 local youth aerial companies on Saturday 8/20 at 12:00pm at the Cowell Theater
- Robert Moses' KIN Aerial Premiere: Saturday 8/20 & Sunday 8/21 at 3:00pm at the Festival Pavilion
- New Experiments Performance: New works by independent aerial choreographers and small companies on Sunday 8/21 at 7:00pm at CounterPulse
