The Vertical Dance Centre is the first training school in Europe with a structured and internationally recognized method created by the choreographer Wanda Moretti. Vertical Dance Centre is entirely dedicated to the support, the promotion and the development of professional vertical dance and performance on vertical planes. It is a space for creativity and exchange, research and practice, artistic development and innovation. It is a meeting point for vertical dancemakers. |

PERFORMANCE AND CREATION 28 June - 2 July, h 10 - 17
Program addressed to those who want to strenghten their technique and prepare for the show.
Schedule: technique on different lenghts of rope outdoor/indoor.
Creative lab, counterbalance, aerial harnesses.
The workshop will culminate in an informal showing.

TEACHERS TRAINING 9 July - 13 July, h 10 - 17
A workshop dedicated to the deeping of teaching vertical dance technique with VST Vertical Suspension Training a method created by Wanda Moretti.
The activity includes theoretical aspects dedicated to the history and evolution of vertical dance supported by films and lectures.

Il Posto VDC is a founding member of European Vertical Dance Centers Network, cofounded by the Creative Europe Programme of the European Union.
Il Posto VDC operates in the following programmes:
- Dance, research, production studio and home for Il Posto Dance Company;
- A professional support programme for dancers through classes, artistic residence and performance opportunities. Providing over intensive workshops, seminars and lectures;
- Vertical Dance Course and workshops for beginners and open level throughout the year;
- Module for Vertical Dance Teachers
(Application is open every 2 years);
- An inclusive participation programme working with groups with a wide range of interests and abilities. Secondary schools, university students and young refugees;
- Vertical Dance residences for National and International artists and companies.
