Legs On The Wall

Legs' next major work will be unveiled next week. It's BIG, bold and we can't wait to share it with you. Here's a little tease:

Open Training will return in 2022, and we're planning some massive days in the Red Box. Our first sessions will be announced before the end of the year so look out for them here and on socials.

Friday 26 November, 7:30pm | City Hall, Newcastle

Creative Newcastle and the Hunter Creative Alliance bring together world renowned theatre, dance and film-maker Lloyd Newson (OBE, Founder of DV8 Physical Theatre – London) in conversation with Kate Champion (Founder of Force Majeure and Legs Board Member) for an exciting evening of rigorous discussion.

Lloyd Newson has been cited as one of the 100 most influential artists of the past century by the UK's Critics Circle. Hear directly from Lloyd in his key-note speech about his award-winning international career, what drives his passion for creating ground-breaking provocative work, and what lessons he’s learnt over 40 years of working in dance and the arts. Event host Kate Champion said that he has had an enduring effect on theatre and dance on a global scale. “His unrelenting rigour, astute perception and fearless political opinions have made so much of his work original, deeply affecting and unforgettable. It will be a very special opportunity for Newcastle audiences and artists alike.”
