AERIAL AND VERTICAL DANCE FOR CAMERA ONLINE COURSE

This course explores the joy of creating movement work for screen with critically acclaimed screen dance maker Becky Edmunds. The aim is not to find out how films should be made, but to experiment with how film could be made, if approached from a dance or choreographic practice.
Explore movement in the frame, relationship to camera, choreographic editing, and how sound can emphasis the visual experience.
Suitable for:
- people who have never picked up a camera or edited before. Everyone can approach the tasks with whatever technical knowledge they have (or don't have).
- People who have previous experience in making screen work. If you have technical filmmaking skills, this course will push you to try new method and approaches.
Delivered over 4 weeks through practical exercises, individual and group tasks online, targeted reading and watching, plus group and individual feedback.
Cost: £175pp - only 3 places left.
Subsidised: places available for those who identify as underrepresented in the aerial sector.
