March already, and here in the UK it feels like spring might just have sprung. The longer days, lighter evenings and beautiful sunrises are so welcome.

We know many of you are eagerly waiting for news about EADF 2026, and we are too. We are still awaiting confirmation around funding - see below for more details.

EADF 2026 Update

European Aerial Dance Festival 2026

For all of you fabulous folk asking about and eager to sign up for the European Aerial Dance Festival (EADF 2026), we wanted to let you know that there will be a further delay on our funding decision outcome - now due mid April.

Please keep everything crossed and watch this space - we’ll let you know as soon as we have news 🤞

Upcoming Courses

Dancing With The Tree, Portugal

24 - 29 June

We have just a couple of places left on our Dancing With The Tree course in Portugal's Mafra national forest. If you would like to join us in June, now is the time to secure your place.

This sublime immersive retreat unfolds over four days and five nights, and is led by myself, Lindsey, and the wonderful Magalie Lanriot.

We'll practice vertical dance in the forest whilst carving out space to slow down and reconnect with ourselves and the natural world. Accommodation is onsite at the main house, with delicious organic and vegan catering throughout.

We can't wait to welcome both new and returning aerial friends!

Vertical Dance Workshop, Paris

9 - 10 May

Lindsey is excited to be returning to Paris in May for a skilled / advanced level vertical dance workshop exploring movement research, creative tool kits and repertoire.

Over two immersive days we will explore how to stretch and deepen our existing vertical dance vocabulary, revisiting familiar movement while discovering new pathways and creative possibilities.

Working with Lindsey's movement repertoire, the focus is on finding greater ease, flow and imagination in your dancing on the wall.

Join us in the French capital for a fantastic weekend of vertical dance:

Aerial dance mentoring - Ireland & Finland

Lindsey is delighted to be mentoring two aerial dance artists in Ireland and Finland this month, supporting their creative development and artistic journeys. Pictured above is Heidi Miikki in Finland.

Altra Risorsa Conference - Turin, Italy

18 - 19 April

In April Lindsey will be heading to the VIII edition of the Altra Risorsa Conference on Social Circus in Torino (April 18-19).

She will be speaking from her own and the G&L team's experience on 'Re-imagining the EADF to actively welcome D/deaf and or disabled artists and public.’

Lindsey says: "Whilst I still feel very much at the start of my inclusive practice and recognise it will be an ever evolving and ongoing journey, I’m excited to share tools, thinking and open discussion on how we can all welcome a greater diversity of participation into the art forms we’re so passionate about."

Off The Wall - Cornwall, UK

21 - 22 March

Later this month, our friends at Off The Wall in Penryn, Cornwall, are hosting 2 days of vertical dance delights with the fabulous Sarah Keeney from Bandaloop. Get a taste of what's in store with this reel on Instagram.
