Commissioned by Zaccho Dance Theatre with funding from the San Francisco Arts Commission and the City of San Francisco's Dream Keeper Initiative, dawsondancesfand Gregory Dawson present the premiere of Gateway24

At its core Gregory Dawson’s creative philosophy is rooted in the notions of cultural and human respect that aims to move beyond social biases and divisions that may otherwise prevent individuals from expressing who they truly are. Working from truths allows us to be open and giving with our works.

Megan Lowe &

Roel Seeber

We are excited to present From the Clouds to the Earth & the Home In-Between, a site-specific vertical dance created by veteran aerial dancers Megan Lowe and Roel Seeber - that explores the life cycle of the intensely complex creatures that we are.

From wide-eyed simplicity to the sometimes overwhelming complexity of life, we seek to bridge the extremes of our bewilderingly enigmatic humanity by way of a creative journey through the dynamic architecture of the historic Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture.

Flyaway Productions

Flyaway Productions presents their premiere of Jane Can You?

Founded in 1996 by Artistic Director Jo Kreiter, Flyaway Productions makes dances that are off the ground, site-specific, and politically driven. This new work - commissioned by Zaccho Dance Theatre for the 2024 Festival and featuring Laura Elaine Ellis, Jhia Jackson, and Ai Yin Adelski with music by Xoa Asa - will fold into ODE TO JANE, premiering in the Fall of 2024.
