EADF: 5th -16th August 2024 ✨ Extra Straps Class - Week 1  We've added an extra class of Straps at Improver Up level in Week 1 of EADF, as Week 2 at that level sold out long ago! Join Pepe (aka Jose) to experience the simplicity of the straps but the complexity of the technique - whilst having lots of fun! Straps - Improvers & Up - 2.30-4pm, Week 1 Full details of Straps classes here ✨ Feel Good Saturday - 10th August Our Feel Good Saturday offerings take a deeper dive into complimentary body work and set you up perfectly for your day off at the beach, helping you wind down after Week 1 or prep for the week ahead. Join us for 1, 2 or all 3 sessions - your body will thank you for it! 🙏 9.45-11.45am: Kinstretch® tissue control & endurance class with Laura Pero 12.15-2.15pm: Flexibility with Carolyn Ailsa 2.45-4.45pm: Stretch massage with Magalie Lanriot Full details of Feel Good Saturday (10th Aug) here ✨ Aerial Dance Taster Workshop - 10th August We're also running 'Have A Go' sessions on Sat 10th for the local Adur community, so if you know of anyone who fits the bill it's just £25 for 3 classes - whoop whoop!  Full details of Aerial Dance Taster Workshop here ✨ Teacher Training with Erin Ball   BIG news! We're really excited to have Erin Ball with us leading 'Disability and Accessibility in Circus Arts' teacher training sessions. This in an incredible opportunity to train with Erin! These sessions will run Mon - Fri (excl. Weds) from 4.15-7pm with a short break in the middle, and continue with an optional class on Sat 10th from 10.30-2.30, as Erin puts into practice the learning from the week. Erin will be welcoming local D/deaf, disabled, neurodivergent and chronically ill artists and community.  Click the links below for details of the week-time teacher training sessions + Saturday workshop 👇 Accessibility & Disability in Circus Arts - Teacher Training - Week 1 Circus Arts Workshop for Typically Excluded Communities - Sat 10th Aug ✨ Accommodation at EADF   EADF is booking up and we've had a few of you ask about accommodation. Great thinking - now is the time to find somewhere to stay! 👉 We've created an 'Accommodation at EADF' thread on our European Aerial Dance Festival Facebook page, so you can connect with other lovely people, find housemates and share lifts. 🏠 📍 Here's the page and the post is pinned at the top. ✨ Arts Council Funding Thanks to Arts Council funding, we're thrilled to have been able to offer 9 subsidised places for artists identifying as underrepresented in the aerial sector and 4 free places to D/deaf and disabled artists in week 1 of the EADF. These applications are now closed. ✨ Partner Offers for EADF We're working hard behind the scenes on partner offers for those attending EADF.
