Thank you for your support of Flyaway Productions! AIR time in April! Seeking female and nonbinary youth for a fantastic summer job! Apply to GIRLFLY 2024! In 2024, GIRLFLY will return to the Tenderloin and CounterPulse in San Francisco, where we’ll explore the intersections between gender justice and living unhoused. The curriculum will combine aerial dance making via suspended steel beds and performance with an activist curriculum that explores current solutions to housing shortages. For this year’s program we will create aerial dances in a professional studio theater. We will also create a cooperative writing project—a recipe book for housing solutions. No prior arts experience is required. Plus, Earn $500! We will dance on steel hoops, umbrellas, and poles.
