BANDALOOP Spring KickoffThis spring we revel in renewal as we prepare our Oakland CA home studios for our expanded reopening later this year as East Bay's only dedicated vertical dance studio and school. As our HQ for the past 11 years, the revamped BANDALOOP studios will more than double our capacity to create vertical works and teach the next generation of dance artists. By providing classes, workshops, camps, intensives, and training groups BANDALOOP shares the joy of vertical dance and creates growth-minded environments for new artists to blossom. With twice the studio space, we will be increasing education programs with a commitment towards inclusion, diversity, equity, and access. A donation in April goes directly to support student scholarships and teacher salaries so that anyone who wants to can practice this life-affirming dance form.
Our goal is $10,000 to double our annual scholarship budget and cover teaching hours for ALL our summer programs (see below). We have watched our dance form grow and flex these past 30+ years. With your support, we can ensure the future of the form is made ever more vibrant and radically inclusive.
