Legs On The Wall and Sydney World Pride present LOVERS this Sunday 5 March
SYDNEY, we're ready to come out and join the celebrations!
Legs On The Wall will soar from the side of Circular Quay's newest architectural wonder, Quay Quarter Tower, as the Sydney World Pride March makes its way over the harbour and along the Cahill Expressway. In this uniquely inspired performance, five pairs of LOVERS will transcend the everyday and celebrate love from their own perspectives. Representing the diversity of sexuality and gender identities across our region, the profundity of love that people everywhere cherish, and the vital importance of universal human rights, this is Legs amplifying intimacy on an extraordinary scale.
Visible from the World Pride March route, and from other nearby vantage points, LOVERS will be free and accessible, celebrating queerness from a high profile public space and welcoming to all.
LOVERS is supported by Sydney World Pride, the NSW Government through Create NSW and the City of Sydney, and - through the assistance of AMP Capital - will see Legs return to familiar territory: the Quay Quarter Tower sits in its own partnership with Sydney's first skycraper at 33 Alfred Street where our history-making work Homeland was performed.
We're thrilled to invite you to join us at Circular Quay!
