Last week we began rehearsing for Belonging, at the Seaholm Plaza. For the next six weeks, our dancers will arrive just after dawn to prepare for the upcoming performance. Dancer Amy Myers, who performed in past shows at the Seaholm, describes how this rehearsal process has touched her in new ways this year:
"My favorite part about this process is having the opportunity to feel the freedom of flight, while also relinquishing control to the wind. I have to say, that in this show, it is equally wonderful to connect with all of the dogs (and their humans!) passing by and stopping to watch rehearsals."
We can't wait to share the magic with you! Tickets are on sale now. Belonging will run from September 14-18 and 21-24. Our first show, September 14th, is our community night, with general admission tickets at a discounted rate.
