'Creating Connections’ is a British Council funded collaboration between Gravity & Levity, Il Posto (Italy) and Vertical Dance Kate Lawrence (Wales) that draws on the inventiveness and participatory spirit of 1970 New York experimental dance that laid the foundations for our shared practice: vertical dance. The team will be working with a group of male refugees in Venice, children from a neuro-diverse school in Llandudno and D/deaf and disabled artists in Brighton in collaboration with aerial designer Mish Weaver. You can witness the results of their research and creation in an online screening and sharing event in December 2022.
Dordogne Aerial Dance Atelier - DADA Festival - is coming up 9-13 June in Dordogne, France. Our Artistic Director Lindsey will be teaching vertical and aerial dance harness technique and creation alongside Magalie Lanriot. Check it out.
