Vertical Dance Summer Workshop

This year, for the workshop Di Natura Verticale, we will bring vertical dance to the architecture of the Teatro del Parco. The training will be held in an urban building surrounded by greenery, where we will study the technique and together we'll create short dance pieces in dynamic relationships with the surrounding landscape. We will dance on curved and flat planes, on high and low walls. The Theater will welcome us inside and outside and at the conclusion of the residency period a demonstration open to the public will be presented.

PERFORMANCE AND CREATION

Program addressed to those who want to strengthen their technique and prepare for the show. Schedule: technique, VST - Vertical Suspension Training, practice on different lengths of rope outdoor/indoor. Creative lab, counterbalance on the wall, low fly dance. Case studies and video presentation. Open wall evening to share projects and explore material, improvisation and group discussions.
