Dear Blue Lapis Light Family,
Our next featured dancer is the incredible Susan Harkey! Susan has been dancing with Blue Lapis Light for nearly a decade and has explored movement techniques since childhood.
When asked about her experience performing with Blue Lapis Light, here is what she had to say:
"When I rehearse and perform, I go through a journey of every emotion: fear, joy, frustration, elation, and sadness. Dance gives me a platform to work through every possible emotional experience. It's a meditation that keeps me in the present moment - no matter what comes up. It's a challenge and a joy. It's the greatest source of fulfillment in my life.
BLL is a family to me. We've worked together for so many years, through high intensity work and performance, and I feel incredibly connected to our company. I feel so grateful to be a part of BLL and to share our work with the greater Austin community."
