This thought-provoking thirty minute contemporary dance performance was commissioned by Oakland’s Equal Justice Society in 2011, and created in response to their campaign to restore 14th Amendment protections for victims of discrimination. This includes those on death row, where there is a disproportionate number of African Americans and people of color. This program is presented as part of the Bolinas Museum exhibition FOCUS: Joanna Haigood + Wayne Campbell. A community discussion with the artists and experts in the field follows.

These free performances are supported by a generous grant from the West Marin Fund.
