December 6 & 7, 2014 Saturday: 10AM - 1:30PM Sunday: 10AM - 1PM Open Level Workshop (ages 14 and up)   BANDALOOP PROFILE: Education Director & Rehearsal Coordinator Melecio Estrella Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, much of Estrella's youth was spent in the rigors of competitive gymnastics. He found his way into the worlds of dance and performance through his love of contact improvisation. Estrella has performed in the Bay Area with The San Francisco Opera, Scott Wells, Lizz Roman, Rachael Lincoln, Faye Driscoll, Jesse Hewitt, Erika Shuch and Frieda Kipar. He is currently a member of the Joe Goode Performance Group and co-directs the newly condensed dance animal, Fog Beast. Estrella has gratefully adventured with BANDALOOP for the last decade.
